The following fields are required to complete a Publication sheet import.

Inventory Number
Publication Subject
Publication Type

Inventory Number: The first column should be the Inventory number of the piece you wish to add the loan record to.

Publication Subject: Every Publication record in Collector Systems is required to have a subject. The subject should be unique per publication you are entering. For example, it may be the title of the Publication or the title plus the year of Publication. The publication subject will be visible on the master list of Publications on your account, and it should be written so that you can easily pick the publication from a list.
We do not recommend that you use the Inventory number in the Publication subject line, as one publication may be associated with multiple pieces.

Publication Type: Every publication should include a "type." For example:

Book
Catalog
Journal
Magazine
Other
Verbal

You may select from one of the above or enter your own type.
