All other fields on the Acquisitions import sheet are optional, and you may fill out as many as you require. You can see definitions for each field on the Acquisitions sheet in the Master Glossary. If you do not need a column, please delete it from the Excel sheet for convenience.

User Defined Fields

There are several User Defined columns available for you to use on the Acquisitions import sheet - these are called Acquisition Line Items. These additional fields allow you to record invoice expenses beyond simply discount and tax. For example, you may have a buyer’s premium, commission, or framing costs on the invoice. Please add only numbers to these fields (no currency symbols).

Number and Date Fields

Please only enter dates into the following fields (in MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY format):

Acquisition Date
Invoice Date
Paid in Full Date
Took Possession Date
Tax Paid Date
Acquisition Approval Date
Acquisition Date of Conversion Rate

Please only enter numbers into the following fields (no currency symbols):

Acquisition Price
Acquisition Discount (may be entered as the amount or as a %)
Acquisition Tax (may be entered as the amount or as a %)
Acquisition Conversion Rate
